In the heart of the Frysian lake district (Sneekermeer), just outside the village of Terherne (known as the Chameleon village), is a thatched-roof farmstead with 5 apartments.
The 5 comfortable apartments are situated on the ground floor.
Each apartment includes a seating area, dining area and a fully-equipped kitchenette. Other amenities include a 51-inch flat-screen TV, wireless internet and mini bar.
There is also a private outdoor seating area with garden furniture and a sunshade. Breakfast can be ordered at an additional cost upon reservation.

Route description From the south - Take the A6 till Joure, at Joure follow the signgs Terherne. - Arrived at Teherne take the first road to the right, the name of the street is 'Utbuorren'. - Take the first road to the left, and you will see De Marihoeve on your right handsite. From the Afsluitdijk - Take the A7 till Joure-West and follow the signs Terherne. - -Arrived at Teherne take the first road to the right, the name of the street is 'Utbuorren'. - Take the first road to the left, and you will see De Marihoeve on your right handsite. From the Nord - Take the A23 till Akkrum and follow the signs Terherne. - Follow this way till you almost leave Terherne, and go to the left, the name of this street is 'Utbuorren'. By Public Transport From trainstation Heerenveen take bus 98 till Joure, at Joure take bus 95 in direction Leeuwarden. From trainstation Grou or Akkrum take bus 95 in direction Joure From trainstation Leeuwarden take bus 95 Leave the bus at bus stop 'Meer van Lenten'
Area Information
The village is surrounded by water and it is therefore not strange that it has become a famous watersports village with an international reputation. Besides the watersports activities there are, hiking, cycling and fishing activities around Terherne. The beach and the beautiful villages in the area are also very much worth a visit.
